Hey, I get it, life is hard and can get really busy. We have more responsibilities and time just never seems quite enough.
Date night can easily slip your mind, and nobody wants to be the person who forgets about date night. So I’ve got your back.

1. Go On A Walk
This a simple foolproof date, go on a long walk with your partner.
You can have long conversations and explore the town, grab some ice cream maybe go to the beach. The options are really endless here.
2. Go On A Hike
Basically a walk on steroids.
If your partner is a nature buff surprise them by taking them to their favorite trail. They’ll appreciate it and you’ll look like a great listener for remembering their favorite trail.
3. Go On A Bike Ride
Hit the road with your partner.
This is another inexpensive date idea and can be really fun. You can race around your city and have fun together.
A bonus tip, grab a few snacks at the store and have a picnic at your final destination. Don’t forget the water!
4. Rent a Canoe
I live by a beach town, where you can basically rent a canoe and go out onto the water anytime.
If your date isn’t terrified of water like me, take them to the beach or lake and rent a canoe, and have a fun adventure on the water.
Don’t forget to grab a swimsuit in case you’re enticed to go swimming.
5. Have An Old School Picnic
I know picnics have become these really fancy things now, what with the charcuterie boards and throw pillows. And don’t get me wrong I love those fancy picnics, but remember, were strapped for time.
Grab a few of your and your date’s favorite snacks and a blanket and go to a cute park, or use the bed of your truck to have a low-key picnic.
6. Have a DIY Tea Party
I love tea, and if my boyfriend took the time to make me a little tea party with a cute little tea set and some delicious finger foods, Id literally die!
This is especially great for winter months when it’s just too cold to leave the house, you can cozy up afterward and watch a new show.
7. Cook Together
A fun activity to do together and a delicious meal at the end, well maybe delicious, depending on your skill set.
Do a grocery run together, pop open a bottle of wine, and just enjoy being together as you come together to create a beautiful meal.
8. Make Cocktails At Home
You can both make signature cocktails and have a fun time together. Maybe make it a twofer and enjoy these cocktails with your home-cooked meal.
9. Order Takeout
Order from a few of your favorite takeout places and have a literal feast.
Snuggle up on your couch and pig out while you watch a good movie or show.
10. Try A New Activity
Anything at all, the world is your oyster.
Be creative and try something new that you both have never tried out.

I love the popcorn from the cinema.

Another classic date idea for a last-minute date is good, old, bowling!

You can then battle it out to see who is best, and it’s cheap easy entertainment!

As far as cheap easy entertainment goes, an arcade is always fun.
This is a great way to let your inner child out, go to an arcade and make it fun, and put down a little wager to see who can win the most tickets by the end of the night.

Why not go to an arcade on steroids?
A casino night is a great date night idea, it’s also a great reason to get really dolled up.
16. Visit Your Local Aquarium or Zoo
I’ve always thought the lighting in an aquarium was really romantic.
Have a nice chill date watching fish be fish or go to a zoo and just enjoy walking around and having fun with the animals.
Don’t forget to hit the gift shop afterward!

You can buy a canvas at your local art supply store, and grab your favorite bottle of wine.
Have a painting session where you and your partner get a little tipsy. To make it more fun, have rotating canvases and work together on your art pieces.

This is a fun idea to do. Grab a few kinds of cheese, some cold cuts, fruits, and anything you want really.

Hit a local pool or beach and have some fun in the water. Swimming is a really fun activity, and everyone enjoys it, (except me of course).

Appreciate the sky together.
My favorite place to star gaze is the beach, hearing the waves in the background and the stars shining down on you. I couldn’t imagine a more romantic date.
