12 Simple Habits That Will Help You Stay Super Organized

12 simple organizational hacks of organized people

Are you trying to find ways to live a more organized and focused life?

We’ll be looking at the top 12 organizational habits in this blog post, which you can adopt to increase your productivity and efficiency. With only a few little adjustments, you can soon be maximizing your time like never before!

Let’s get started, shall we?

12 Daily Habits Of Organized People:

Everyone knows this really organized person in their life! They always appear to get their work done ahead of schedule and meet deadlines with no problems at all! But how do they do it?

Being organized and ahead of your workload can be challenging if you’re not naturally organized. Before you realize it, you’re trying to do too much, which puts you at risk of stress, anxiety, or burnout.

By establishing a few new habits or getting rid of some existing unhealthy habits can help you become and stay more organized.

I have compiled a list of healthy habits of organized people to assist you in being more organized and regaining control of your life!

Adding some of these habits to your routine will help you become more organized, focused, and less worried, making it easier to enjoy your days.

1. They Set Goals

You can have a long-term vision and short-term motivation by setting goals.

By establishing goals, you may concentrate on what you want to accomplish and provide yourself with a path to get there. Divide more difficult-to-attain goals into smaller, more manageable ones when making them.

These small more attainable goals are what will become your priorities for your month, weeks or days.

By doing this, reaching your end objective becomes more manageable and less intimidating!

2. They Have A Routine

Maintaining organization requires a strong and solid routine.

My improved morning routine is one of the nicest things I’ve ever incorporated into my life. I started waking up earlier, giving me more time to get ready for the day ahead and have a relaxing morning self-care routine, as opposed to hitting snooze 10 times before finally getting out of bed and racing around!

3. They Prioritise

People that are highly organized may prioritize their workload effectively by setting priorities and accomplishing these tasks first!

Making lists, as mentioned above, is helpful in this situation.

One strategy I employ is to divide jobs into three groups: priorities, daily tasks, and optional.

I then focus on my priorities first, followed by daily tasks I need to get done, and if I have time, I’ll try to finish the optional but less important tasks.

It’s not always easy to prioritize well, but with practice and as you get more organized, it will become simpler.

4. They Make Lists

to do list

Making lists is one of the best methods to stay organized. Making a list will help you prioritize your workload, keep yourself mentally focused, and keep track of the tasks that still need to be done.

You can create a list for nearly anything; they’re not just for tasks anymore!

Whatever the list is for—shopping lists, reading lists—it will keep you organized and on task! After a list or item is crossed off, there are also those sentiments of accomplishment.

This may motivate you to accomplish even more!

5. They Set Alarms And Reminders

Setting reminders is one approach to start being more organized if you have a lot of things to get done during the day.

When I set reminders and alarms on my phone, I won’t get sidetracked and lose track of time easily.

Alarms serve as reminders for me to take breaks or start on a task because I get sidetracked really easily.

When I don’t set alarms, it can be 4 o’clock in the afternoon before I begin doing any real work!

Alarms are also useful for remembering appointments, planning your day, and even merely being reminded to remove something from the freezer for dinner. Alarms are my holy grail.

6. They Don’t Procrastinate

At some point, we’re all guilty of procrastinating.

But, over time, it may cause us to lose enthusiasm and become tired with our jobs.

By delaying chores or tasks, we ultimately increase our workload and make it tougher to reach our goals and accomplish daily priorities.

If you keep putting things off till later, you’ll never get anything done!

7. They Finnish Tasks

One of the worst things you can do to appear organized is to leave work unfinished.

Always strive to finish one assignment before going on to the next, unless it is really large or is likely to take several days to accomplish. Otherwise, you’ll have a lot of incomplete chores that you’ll probably forget about, lose motivation to finish, and put you at risk of failing to reach your goals.

By all means, take a break if you’re having trouble with something, but never put things off till later because you’re too lazy to do it.

8. They Read And Reply To Emails Daily

The majority of organized people check and reply to their emails every day.

No matter what time of day you do it, as long as you set out time to do it, it doesn’t matter!

I like to do this every morning so that I can add any crucial things to my list of to-dos for the day.

I keep my inbox organized by doing things that can be done right immediately rather than putting them off until later.

9. They Put Things Away

In the same way, organizing files helps keep you organized, always putting things back in their rightful place helps with that as well.

I find there’s nothing worse than wasting time searching for something, especially when it’s needed urgently!

By keeping all your things where they belong and in an organized manner, you’ll not only help speed up workflow, but it will also save you time and energy searching for such items when you need them most.

10. They Are Not Perfectionists

Although striving for perfection in all we do can be harmful, we all want things to be perfect. Perfectionism can push us to set unattainable objectives and expectations, as well as cause us to put off things.

It’s crucial to keep in mind that nobody is flawless and that we all make mistakes.

11. They Know When To Ask For Help

When support is required, organized people aren’t scared to ask for help.

Reaching out to people with greater knowledge or receiving just a little advice on how to finish a certain work are both possibilities.

Asking for assistance when you need it is always a smart idea because we can never know everything and there’s always more to learn!

Knowing when to delegate is just as vital for staying organized as knowing when to ask for help. As we are all only human, it is occasionally impossible for us to finish what we have to do.

Even if you are the most well-organized person ever, life can still surprise you. When this occurs, distribute the workload rather than attempting to stay on top of everything.

There will always be someone wanting to help, whether it be professionally or personally.

12. They Take Care Of Themselves

Finally, organized people understand the value of taking care of themselves.

You’re more likely to be more resilient and experience less stress if you take some time to relax and engage in some self-care activities.

Maintaining your health and taking care of yourself allows you to focus on your objectives and aspirations while also being able to respond to any problems that may come your way.

Overall, being a little more organized will have a lot of positive effects on your life, from feeling less overwhelmed by clutter and confusion to proactive preparation that frees up time and space for the enjoyable things you enjoy doing.

10 Daily Habits That Will Drastically Change Your Life

In this post, I am going to share 10 daily habits that will drastically improve your life.

Simply incorporating these daily habits into your daily routine will make a huge difference to your productivity, efficiency and overall improve your life!

If your habits right now aren’t aligned with the future you envision for yourself, then today is the right time to change that. If you don’t change anything, nothing changes.

So with this, let me share with you the daily habits that will improve the quality of your life.

Easy Daily Habits To Improve Your Life

1. Wake Up Early

Starting your day early allows you to devote more of your day to accomplishing your daily tasks and goals, and will allow you more time to operate on a successful schedule.

You can incorporate more healthy habits into your routine this way, this can be going to the gym, daily meditation, a healthy homemade breakfast, or another one of our daily habits of successful people mentioned below.

2. Get Into The Habit Of Not Using Your Phone In The Mornings

The first thing most of us do when we wake up is grab our phones.

A few missed calls or texts, watching Instagram reels, and then we’re sucked into laying in bed just mindlessly scrolling til we have to rush out the door.

You’ve hardly woken up and the first thing you expose yourself to is the rest of the world.

Allow yourself at least an hour or two after you’ve woken up before checking your phone, this will help you ease into the day and be the one that decides your mood for the day, not the outside world.

Using an alarm clock rather than your phone just will allow you to accomplish this easier.

3. Have A Daily Workout Routine

To get your mind active, you’ll need to get your body active first.

The morning is the best time to exercise and get your blood flowing, either through some stretching, cardio, yoga, or any variation of these.

Exercise immediately boosts your mood and makes you feel fresh and this daily habit of exercising helps to bring you energy to other tasks you need to complete.

4. Eat That Frog!

Our daily tasks and responsibilities can be very overwhelming at times so we may end up not getting all of them done ending our days of feeling unaccomplished.

If you find yourself feeling like this a lot, try Brain Tracy’s suggested method and eat that frog!

Brian Tracy shares the idea that if you had to eat a frog every day, eat that frog first thing each morning.

What this means is, to complete your most daunting task first thing in the morning, choose your priority for the day and accomplish that first. This way, you will be left with easier tasks

If other tasks come up before you’ve had the chance to complete these, know that sometimes it’s absolutely okay to just say “no.”

You only have so much time in a day and you need to focus on getting ahead, rather than dealing with distractions. Consider delegating those less vital tasks to someone else who is able to help in order to improve your productivity.

5. Eat A Healthy Breakfast

One of the most important meals of the day is breakfast.

Due to the necessity to maintain energy levels throughout the day, this is also the best time to eat the most calories. Healthy carbs, proteins, and lipids are necessary. Make it a point not to miss this important meal.

6. Keep A Daily Journal

Starting a journal can quickly develop into a useful routine.

Keeping a journal would help you set objectives for yourself, take some time to reflect on your day, and doing so can help you become a more successful person.

One excellent example of this is morning pages. In order to purge your mind of negative thinking and begin your day with focus and clarity, it entails recording your conscious morning thoughts in three handwritten pages.

7. Practice Gratitude

It goes without saying that those who are happy are more successful. Greater happiness is regularly and strongly correlated with gratitude.

Practicing gratitude is simple. You can write what you’re grateful for in a journal, say them out loud, pray, practice meditation, or do whatever feels right for you.

There are numerous approaches to take, and none of them are wrong. Choose what works best for you.

8. Make Time For Self-Care And Relaxation

Being productive is crucial, but you should also give your body and mind a chance to rest and reset. It’s crucial to schedule time for rest and self-care if you want to be productive.

For example, try focusing on work for a few hours, then taking five t ten minutes to read a page of your current read, or go for a brief stroll and grab water.

Whether it’s a face mask, a cup of chamomile tea, or taking a few deep breaths, self-care is highly crucial to your health.

You owe it to yourself to prioritize yourself and show yourself some love. It can be something as small as five minutes per day where you reward yourself too – but let’s be honest, the more the merrier.

By doing so, you’ll avoid burnout and be able to think more clearly all day long.

Making time for self-care is crucial, regardless of whether your stress is related to the demands of establishing a business, writing a book, or your 9 to 5.

9. Keep Your Space Clean And Clutter Free

A clutter-free environment and a clear mind go hand in hand.

There are little habits you can have to keep your space clean, from your office to your house, you’re more likely to feel productive and level-headed if you aren’t picking through the clutter and disorder.

Make time each day to clean your keyboard, do the dishes, pack away anything you’ve used and arrange your space and to-do list. This only takes a few minutes, and it’s certain to jet-set your productivity.

Also, it’s beneficial to make deep cleaning your environment a weekly routine.

10. Getting Enough Sleep

This is one of the most important daily routines of successful people.

Sleep is the healthiest thing we can do for ourselves. You’ll experience burnout and work more slowly over time if you don’t get enough sleep.

Consider how this will affect your capacity for productivity. Sleep resets us more than anything else. Most adults need 7-9 hours of sleep per night.
