how to thro the best parties

We all know that one friend who throws the best parties. They seem to have a knack for making every gathering unforgettable, from the moment you walk in the door to the last song of the night.

But what is it that makes their parties stand out? Well, buckle up because I’m spilling the tea on all their secrets, so you can take your next party to the next level!

Whether you’re hosting a cozy dinner with friends or planning a full-blown extravaganza, these 25 tips will help you become the host everyone talks about long after the party’s over.

Secrets of People Who Throw the Best Parties

1. Create a Vibe with Your Invitations

The party starts the moment the invite goes out. Whether it’s a fancy email, a glitter-filled card, or even a themed text invite, make sure it sets the tone.

You want your guests to feel the energy and excitement just by looking at the invite.

2. Theme It Up!

A themed party instantly takes things up a notch. It doesn’t have to be over-the-top (unless you want it to be!).

Something as simple as a color theme or a “tropical nights” vibe can give everyone something to look forward to and tie all the details together.

3. Perfect Your Playlist

Music can make or break a party. Curate a playlist that matches the mood you’re trying to set. Starting with something chill as guests arrive, then gradually turning up the energy as the night progresses is a must.

And don’t forget those crowd-pleasers that everyone knows and loves!

4. Lighting Is Everything

Nothing kills a vibe faster than harsh, overhead lighting. Swap out bright lights for string lights, candles, or even a few well-placed lamps. Think warm, soft lighting that makes everyone feel relaxed and ready to have fun.

5. Signature Drinks Are a Hit

Offering a signature drink not only makes your party feel a little more special, but it also simplifies the bar situation. Whether it’s a festive punch, a fun cocktail, or a mocktail, having one or two custom drinks on hand makes a big impact.

6. Don’t Forget the Mocktails

Speaking of drinks, make sure to include some fun, non-alcoholic options for guests who aren’t drinking. A delicious mocktail can be just as exciting and shows that you’re thinking of everyone.

7. Food, Glorious Food

You don’t need a full-blown feast, but offering tasty snacks is key. Whether it’s a build-your-own taco bar, charcuterie boards, or bite-sized appetizers, people remember parties where the food is chef’s kiss good.

8. Interactive Food Stations

Want to up the fun factor? Set up an interactive food station! Think make-your-own pizza, a DIY sundae bar, or even a s’mores station. Guests will love getting involved and personalizing their treats.

9. A Photo Backdrop is a Must

how to throw the best parties

If there’s one thing Instagram loves, it’s a good photo-op. Create a DIY photo backdrop using streamers, balloons, or even a tapestry that fits your theme. Your guests will have a blast snapping photos, and you’ll have the best memories to look back on.

10. Get Creative with Party Favors

Party favors aren’t just for kids’ birthday parties. Adults love them too! Personalized favors, mini bottles of champagne, or even a small keepsake from the night make for a great takeaway and remind guests how much fun they had.

11. Set the Mood with Scents

People often overlook the power of scent when it comes to setting the mood, but it’s a game-changer. Candles, essential oils, or even freshly baked cookies can fill your home with a welcoming, cozy scent that guests will love.

12. Have a Mix of Seating

Make sure you have a good balance of seating – not too formal but also not so relaxed that people are slouching all night. Create cozy nooks where people can chat or lounge while still leaving space for those who want to dance.

13. Games, Anyone?

There’s always a moment when the party needs a little kickstart. Having a few games ready to go—whether it’s a card game, a round of trivia, or a fun icebreaker—can help get things going if the energy dips.

14. Let Guests Help Set the Mood

Give guests a role in the vibe creation. Maybe they pick a song, choose an activity, or even contribute to the décor with a fun prop or accessory. When guests feel like they’re part of the experience, it makes everything more memorable.

15. Send Out Pre-Party Hype

Start building excitement even before the day of the party. Send out sneak peeks of the decor, playlist, or theme on social media. When guests arrive, they’ll already feel invested and ready to have a good time.

16. Stay Chill, Even When Things Go Wrong

Not everything is going to go according to plan, and that’s okay! The best party hosts roll with the punches. If something doesn’t go right, laugh it off. Your guests will feed off your energy, and if you’re relaxed, they will be too.

17. Keep a Surprising Element

The best parties are the ones with surprises. Whether it’s a midnight snack reveal, a surprise guest, or an impromptu dance-off, having an unexpected element adds a sense of fun and spontaneity.

18. Comfort is Key

Make sure your space is comfortable. Have enough blankets if it’s chilly, turn on the fans if it’s warm, and ensure there’s room for guests to spread out and relax. Nobody wants to be crammed into a tiny space all night.

19. Set a Dress Code

Whether it’s “casual chic” or “glamorous black tie,” having a dress code adds a touch of excitement and unity. Plus, it helps guests feel more connected when everyone is dressed with the same level of effort.

20. Don’t Be Afraid to Delegate

You don’t have to do it all. Ask friends to help with set-up, music, or even passing around snacks. People love to pitch in, and you won’t be running around all night trying to do everything yourself.

21. The Details Matter

From matching napkins and cups to fun drink stirrers, the little details are what make your party feel thoughtful and well-planned. Guests notice the extra effort, and it makes everything feel more polished.

22. Flow of the Party

A great host knows how to manage the flow of a party. Start with a mellow vibe as people arrive, then ramp things up with music, dancing, or games as the night goes on. Know when to wind things down, too—end on a high note before everyone gets too tired.

23. Have a Playlist for the After-Party

The after-party is a vibe of its own. Once the main event has wound down, switch to some mellow, chill tunes that make everyone feel cozy and ready to relax.

24. Timing is Everything

Start the party at a time that works for your crew. If your friends are more laid-back, don’t start too early. If they’re the type to go all out, give them enough time to pregame and arrive ready to have fun.

25. Leave a Lasting Impression

The final moments of a party are just as important as the first. Whether it’s sending guests off with a party favor or playing a perfect last song, make sure your party ends on a memorable, high note.

Throwing a legendary party is all about setting the tone, adding personal touches, and making sure your guests feel relaxed and excited from the moment they step through the door.

These tips will have everyone raving about your hosting skills and eagerly awaiting your next invite!

Halloween Party Theme Ideas

1. Haunted House Horror

Transform your home into a spine-chilling haunted house.

This theme is perfect for setting a scary vibe with strobe lights, fog machines, black lights, and plenty of fake blood.

Create spooky areas like a mad scientist’s lab with dry ice and lab coats, or a haunted mansion room that feels like it’s straight out of a Stephen King novel.

As your party guests wander through your haunted space, treat them to creepy cocktails and finger foods shaped like body parts.

Decorations: Cobwebs, spooky portraits, dim lighting, and eerie sound effects are all must-haves for a haunted house party. Bonus points if you can add some ghost stories to freak everyone out!

Activities: A costume contest where guests dress as their scariest haunted house residents, and a pumpkin carving contest where everyone’s creativity can come to life.

2. Monster Mash Bash

If you want to throw an epic bash that encourages everyone to let loose, consider a Monster Mash-themed party.

It’s the perfect time to showcase scary costumes inspired by classic monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein, or the Mummy.

A Monster Mash is a great way to play scary movies in the background, and the playlist? Easy, play Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” on repeat!

Decorations: Classic Halloween decorations like skeletons, bats, and spiders work perfectly here. Dim your lights, put out a fog machine, and get ready to mash with the monsters.

Activities: A dance-off to “Thriller” and a costume contest to see who makes the best monster. You can also offer party favors like monster-themed props and accessories.

3. Murder Mystery Party

Who doesn’t love a little suspense on Halloween night?

A murder mystery party is a fun Halloween party theme that blends drama, intrigue, and a touch of fear factor.

Send out detailed party invitations explaining your guest’s character roles, and set up different scenes throughout your party space where they’ll solve the crime.

Decorations: Transform your home into a haunted mansion or crime scene with police tape, blood splatters, and eerie music. Dim the lights, use fairy lights for atmosphere, and add a few black lights to give it that dark party feel.

Activities: Host a murder mystery or several rounds of murder mystery parties with different endings, so everyone gets a turn to play detective or victim. Bonus points for having a prize for whoever solves the crime!

4. Zombie Apocalypse

For horror lovers, a zombie apocalypse is one of the best Halloween party themes. Ask your party guests to arrive dressed as the living dead, and use makeup or fake blood to complete the look.

This zombie-themed event is all about that post-apocalyptic vibe.

Decorations: Chain-link fences, warning signs, and distressed furniture set the tone. Dim the lights, throw in some body parts, and don’t forget the fog machine.

Activities: Set up a scavenger hunt where guests have to find antidotes or supplies to “survive.” It’s a great idea to include prizes for the most creative zombie costume.

Decorations: Think fairy lights, velvet tablecloths, tarot cards, and lots of candles. Create a fortune-telling station where guests can have their cards read.

Activities: Have a guest dressed as a fortune teller or hire a professional to give readings. You could also set up a mystical scavenger hunt where party guests find hidden magical items.

12. Classic Black & White Ball

For a touch of elegance, host a black-and-white Halloween ball where guests wear black or white fancy dress costumes.

This theme is perfect for those who want a more sophisticated yet spooky vibe for their party.

Decorations: Black and white streamers, silver accents, and dim lighting set the stage for a classic Halloween ball. Play scary movies in black and white for an extra vintage feel.

Activities: A costume contest for the best-dressed guest in monochrome, along with a pumpkin carving contest where guests can only use black and white decorations.

Five Daily Habits To Do Before 10 am to Get Your Day Started On A Positive Note

Daily habits for productivity

When 10 Am hits, I start to feel tired and like my day is just dragging on. My energy levels feel depleted and I start to get lazy and feel like sinking into the couch and just taking a nap.

You can easily prioritize everyone else around you, getting to work on time, making breakfast for your kids, and it can be easy to just forget to take care of yourself and start your day off right and not just everyone else’s.

In this post, I will give you some tips and tricks that you can incorporate into your morning routine to help you become more organized and begin your days on a productive note.

Five Daily Habits To Do Before 10 am

Daily Habit 1: Make Your Bed

Before anything else, make your bed.

Every morning! This is a habit that will work wonders for your day. It sets a good tone for your mornings.

If your bed is made, it makes it less likely for you to crawl back into it when you feel like taking an impromptu nap.

Also, when you make your bed, it sets a good tone for your organization that day, it will make you feel more inclined to clean up after yourself and stay organized through the day.

Daily Habit 2: Do Your Skincare

Wash your face. Splash some cold water onto your face to really wake you up.

Then you can take it a step further and do your skincare (not if you’re about to workout though) you feel put together for the day, even when I look a mess, if my skincare is done, I instantly feel more put together and ready for my day.

Trust me. I make this a point to do every morning and it really starts your day off on a positive note. Plus, it really helps maintain your skin.

Daily Habit 3: Get Ready For The Day

When you work from home it can be really easy to just rot in the same sweats the entire week. Take it from me.

Take 5 minutes to get dressed and really get yourself together for the day, whether it’s just a cute workout set or maybe even fully getting dressed like you’re heading out to an office.

This is something that is so simple yet will make such a huge difference. When you look good, you feel even better.

Daily Habit 4: Drink A Glass Of Water

Drinking water first thing in the morning flushes out the stomach and therefore balances our lymphatic system and helps improve gut health, this also helps speed up your metabolism.

Not to mention, it just makes you feel good. So drink a nice tall glass of water before you ingest anything else each day, trust me, it’s simple yet does wonders.

Daily Habit 5: Five Minutes Of Gratitude

This is a great way to ensure we start our days off on a positive note.

To get started, grab a diary, a pen and sit somewhere comfortable. Now, reflect on at least three things you’re grateful for today.

It can be as simple as just waking up, the sun on your skin, or anything major that has happened in your life recently.

If you feel stuck or arent that into journaling, try the 5-minute journal or even look at a list of journal prompts to really help you along.

Just take 5 minutes and be grateful.

All five of these daily habits will really help get your day started on the right note.

Just slowly try to incorporate them into your days, no matter how busy you think you are, all these take less than 5 minutes and it’s an easy way to feel like you’ve taken care of yourself without having to put in too much effort too early in the morning.

How To Live A More Balanced Life

HOW LIVE A MORE BALANCED LIFE

Many of us become overwhelmed by the stress of daily living. We don’t give ourselves enough time to do what we want to do because of late work shifts, deadlines, obligations to our families, and to-do lists that are miles long, leaving us exhausted, overworked, and burnout.

In this article, I’ll show you how to live a simpler, cleaner, and more balanced life one day at a time. Incorporate these suggestions gradually rather than all at once because significant, drastic change rarely lasts.

What Does It Take To Balance Your Life

One of the best tools for assisting you in getting back on track and balancing your life is self-discipline. Without self-discipline, time is lost, you put off doing things you know you should be doing, and you procrastinate.

Change what isn’t working for you to get your life back in balance. The ten suggestions I’ve provided here will assist you in getting back on track and dedicated to leading a balanced life in which self-discipline is no longer a problem. Keep in mind that not everything needs to change at once.

Finding what works best for you over time requires making gradual, modest adjustments. You will eventually have a completely new set of healthy life behaviors that will aid in a more balanced life.

Here are 10 simple ways that work.

10 Ways To Live A More Balanced Life

1. Eat Mindfully

Identify the things that make your body feel good. Understand what you eat and why you eat it. Do you eat out of boredom or because you’re hungry?

Natural energy is provided by a nutritious diet, which also increases self-confidence and self-esteem. Exercise releases endorphins, which are the chemicals in our body that make us feel good. Here are some ideas on how to get going:

– Schedule an appointment with a nutritionist or dietician to evaluate what healthy meal plan might work best for you.

Pick an activity that works for you: running, strength training, yoga, pilates, or walking – you have plenty of options, and you can find the best one for you through trial and error!

Improving sleep, cultivating a calm mental space, having a healthy diet and regular exercise are the foundations for sustaining a well-balanced life.

2. Declutter Your Life

declutter to live a more balanced life

Getting rid of physical clutter, in turn causes you to feel less congested and clutteres emotionally. If your house is a shambles, to me that could be a good indicator that your life may not be together.

When you have alot of stuff, it gets harder to keep everyhtning clean and organized. So when you declutter and downsize, it makes it easier to live an organized and more balanced life. And a bonus is that it becomes much easier to clean up, especially if you hate cleaning.

3. Journal

This is an easy practice that requires minimal dedication. You can clear your mind by journaling. To get started, start by writing one simple sentence down per day.

When you journal, be radically honest; you need to have that space where you’re not worried that someone will read it and you can just be yourself. This is a terrific method to check in with yourself. We all need to let go of our negative emotions.

Set aside some time to think. Keep track of how you use your time daily, identify key stressors in your day-to-day life, and consider the necessary changes you need to make. Keep a daily journal to record all the wonderful things that happen in your life. Recognizing all the good things that happened during your day will help you feel appreciative rather than stressed out and exhausted.

4. Be In Control Of Your Finances

Face your financial anxieties head-on and don’t run from it. You need to be aware of your situation whether you’re making monthly payments on your credit card or creating a budget for yourself.

Making yearly, monthly, and even weekly financial plans is also a vital way to be more in control of your finances. This will allow you to understand your financial goals and therefore act accordingly when you spend money.

When you’re in financial control, and you set financial goals that are in tandem with your life goals, you will live a more relaxed and balanced life because you can avoid having money troubles by being more financially stable.

5. Disconnect Daily

It’s crucial to have time when you aren’t connected to the outside noise, whether you achieve this by watching one less episode on Netflix or by setting a time when you stop checking your messages and using your phone in general.

On the weekend, unplug from digital devices. Turn off your computer and put your phone away. Rest your working brain and just disconnect. Although it sounds difficult, begin slowly. See what a difference it makes by trying to disconnect for at least one day or even a few hours each night.

6. Learn To Say No

It’s crucial to learn to say “no” if you want to achieve balance in your life. It is tough to keep a good balance when you overcommit and overextend yourself in life. Say no to anything and everything that is not necessary or adds no value to your life.

You can achieve a balanced life by saying “yes” without grumbling and “no” without feeling guilty. Saying “yes” to things halfheartedly can result in dissatisfaction and disappointment because you’re going to mess up or take part in something you don’t want to. Only say “yes” when you mean it and actually want to.

7. Pay Attention To Your Health

paying attention to your health will help you live a more balanced life

The state of your health has a real impact on how well you live and perform at work and in life in general. The balance of adequate sleep, a nutritious diet, and physical activity is the key to happiness and higher productivity.

When your life is out of control, your body is a great indicator. Poor sleep is one of these signs. You have trouble sleeping as a result of your overworked thinking and being stressed out, and your energy levels soon decline.

Therefore there seems to be turmoil and clutter in your life, and your intellect is cloudy. If this seems familiar to you, the best course of action is to look for methods to make space for peace in your life.

Try using an app for sleep and meditation. A great one is Calm. Make it a habit to meditate daily and use your chosen app to help you stay committed.

8. Be Intentionally Alone

The usual busy and overburdened individual finds it difficult to make time for themselves, although doing so is essential for reducing stress, boosting happiness, and fostering creativity.

Try meditating, writing, drawing, practicing yoga, or just sitting still and doing nothing for a few minutes each day.

When you discover a solo habit you enjoy, get ready to enjoy the rewards! To assist you in finding balance in your life, here are solo dates that will make your week.

Get a facial or a pedicure. Schedule a massage instead. Plan and commit to self-care sessions! It doesn’t have to be expensive; a nice bottle of wine, a cup of your preferred coffee or tea, a fragrant candle, or some lovely flowers will have a significant impact.

Trying to jam a lot of activities into each day will not help you achieve balance in life. Knowing what is and isn’t important can help you determine how much capacity and energy you have to devote to what is most important to you.

It’s essential to lead a balanced life if you want to be healthy, happy, and content. More balance in your life will not only make you feel your best, but will also increase your productivity, control your stress levels, and enable you to experience life to the fullest.

46 Productive Things To Do Get More Done At Home Even When You’re Feeling Lazy

Filed Under: Things To Do //

productive things to do when you're bored at home

Do you get bored easily or feel like you lose motivation quickly? Or perhaps you’re just looking for suggestions on how to spend your free time more wisely.

In this post, I’ll be sharing with you 46 easy things to do when you’re bored, all of which are simple to do and will fit in well with your daily activities.

These suggestions will provide you with the motivation and direction necessary to stay motivated even on the most boring days.

They can be used to organize chores, go through decluttering rituals, or engage in enjoyable hobbies.

Productive Things To Do When Bored – At Home:

1. Spring Clean Your Place

Nothing is more gratifying than having a spotless home. If cleaning the entire home seems like too much work, tackle it room by room.

When you have a clean home, it makes your mind feel clear and less cluttered as well. If you feel like you’re in a funk, try cleaning up. It always works.

Make a thorough inventory of your possessions and get rid of anything you don’t use or need.

Why not donate to a worthy cause or sell online if anything is still in good condition? When was the last time you emptied the fridge and gave it a good clean?

Maybe it’s time to defrost the freezer as well.

2. Organize your desk

Your mental health is affected in the same way by removing physical clutter.

Sort and file the papers and notes that are all over your desk, remove the sticky notes from your monitor that are no longer necessary, and clean your work surfaces.

Give yourself permission to start over completely, including your screens and computer.

3. Organize all your important documents

Get all your bills, insurance details, and any other important documents all in one handy place.

It’s almost scary how easy it is to let your file cabinet get out of hand.

But much like the relentless power of mother nature, if left to its own devices, your cabinet can quickly grow beyond your means of control if you don’t tend to it regularly.

If you really want to get into it, create folders to organize your documents based on the category of their content.

4. Organize Your Wardrobe

It’s a job we all hate doing, but it’s always satisfying once it’s all done! Due to the size of the job, this deserves a separate mention.

What else can you downsize besides organizing (by color or season)? Making the extra room can help you remember old favorites you’d forgotten about or highlight the essentials your outfit still requires.

Additionally, now is a great time to choose a few go-to outfits to reduce early stress and daily decision fatigue.

This is especially useful if you’re running late. But more significantly, think about giving your unwanted items new life by taking them to a consignment store or donating them!

organize your wardrobe when you're bored

5. Do those little tasks you’ve been putting off

We all have that “thing” that we know will only take a few minutes, but can’t bring ourselves to do.

Examples include cleaning out your vehicle, updating your registration, washing your makeup brushes, and re-seasoning your cast iron.

6. Do some gardening

If you don’t have a pet, taking care of a plant is an excellent place to start because it feels good.

Spend a few minutes during your day cleaning its leaves, spraying it with water, and setting it in the light.

Creating a vegetable garden at home is a great way to eat fresh, healthy food while teaching your children where their food comes from.

If you don’t have room or a garden then why not try potting some herbs instead?

Additionally, plants reduce tension levels and clean the air through photosynthesis.

But if you do have a companion, make sure the plant is either out of the pet’s small reach or not toxic to animals.

7. Do some self-care

Anything that simply makes you feel nice qualifies as self-care.

Your me time is priceless! Use it sensibly. Think of self-care but without any strict limitations or negative judgments to hinder you.

Feeling good about yourself has genuine value, regardless of whether you work from home or not, and it can influence your work ethic.

Put on a hydrating face mask, paint your nails, crack open soda water on the terrace, or, shockingly, just allow yourself to be bored for a moment.

Allow yourself some time to stop and do nothing because boredom inspires creativity. Life can move fairly quickly.

After this break, return to your duties feeling revitalized and renewed.

8. Get some exercise

No matter where you are, even at your workplace, stretch, practice yoga, or work out!

The justification of feeling constrained in your work does not apply here because chair yoga does exist, or you could simply walk around the office a bit.

Your hips, shoulders, neck, and back can suffer greatly from hours of using your laptop and sitting in a desk chair, but you won’t lament the few minutes per day you spend changing those bad habits.

No matter how large or tiny the movements appear to be right now, they will be effective!

9. Meditate

The advantages of meditation are countless.

You can learn to manage stress, improve self-awareness, focus on the present, lessen negative emotions, and acquire new perspectives with just 10 minutes of daily meditation.

If you’re new to meditation, streaming services like YouTube or Spotify are excellent places to start.

Try guided meditation and find the ones you like by looking around. There are many different meditation techniques, so you can find one that works for you.

10. Go for a walk in nature

One of the best ways to help boost your well-being is to take a walk in nature. Walking not only benefits your mind it can also help your physical health too!

Walking for at least 30 minutes a day has numerous powerful advantages for both physical and emotional health, which almost seem too simple.

Going for a daily walk can help you decompress, elevate your mood, enhance the quality of your sleep, lower stress, and enhance your view of yourself as a whole.

Another great method to escape your routine is to go for a walk. Leave your phone at home, explore a new part of your neighborhood or city, or listen to an audiobook or podcast about productivity.

11. Make a weekly meal plan

Meal planning not only helps you make healthier meal choices, but it can also save you time, and money and reduce wastage.

Do you consistently seem to leave the shop without the one item you really needed?

By making a list in advance, you can eliminate any uncertainty about what you’ll purchase, what you’ll do with it, and how much you’ll actually consume in a week.

Make a list of a few well-balanced recipes for each daily dinner and a tasty snack. Then base your shopping plan on those essential ingredients.

Give your future self a healthy push by making your meal-prepped choices the obvious choice, especially if you’re someone who spends a lot of time during your lunch break just staring into your fridge.

12. Write some to-do lists

One of the best ways of staying productive and organized is to write ‘to-do’ lists!

Make a list of everything you have to do today, not just work-related obligations.

Do you need to empty the trash? Clear the table? Add it to your to-do list all the things you need to do.

The beginning of the day can sometimes be the most difficult portion, but allowing yourself the thrill of checking even the smallest item off your list can increase your productivity throughout the day.

13. Journal

Consider your day, most recent accomplishments, thoughts, emotions, and things for which you are thankful.

Writing in a journal is a great way to start creating your future self!

It can be intimidating to start with a blank sheet, but the good news is that there are no wrong ways to journal.

Make a letter to yourself, list your objectives, write down inspirational quotes or mantras, and begin molding the person you want to be.

14. Read a book

Nothing better than a good book to transport you into another world! It’s been suggested that reading for 15 minutes in the morning can make you feel more concentrated.

Find something worthwhile to do! Pick books that contain useful advice that will enable you to advance in some aspect of your life.

15. Take up a new hobby

Why not pick up a new hobby if you do have plenty of free time?

Try a few various things if you’re unsure of what to do; you never know what might work. It’s not necessary to be talented in your interests.

The unrealistic expectation that you must excel at everything you do may prevent you from trying so many things that you might truly love.

Take up crocheting, a new cookbook, or an instrument. The only justification you need to continue doing something is that you enjoy it.

16. Re-arrange furniture

An easy way to freshen up a room is to reorganize the furniture in your room or home. Feng shui was a set of customary methods used in ancient China.

The procedure aims to improve a space’s energy movement in order to improve your well-being. Look up feng shui principles and make some changes to revitalize your area.

17. Organize your junk drawer

We all have that junk drawer that’s full of stuff we might just not need anymore! Maybe it’s time you organize it?

18. Clean your make-up brushes

Makeup brushes can gather bacteria, dead skin cells, and germs over time, which can clog your pores and cause dull skin and breakouts.

19. Change your bedsheets

It’s a simple task yet we all forget to do it. Change out your bedsheets to really up your night’s sleep. Nothing beats going to bed in a clean bed.

20. Check expiration dates

When was the last time you checked the expiration dates on products, especially your skincare and makeup products?

I recall that when I last looked, I discovered some pantry items that were a few years out of date.
